Open Question: How to partner up with other companies?

I want to create furniture sets. For example, receive expensive modern couches, chairs, tables, etc to create a layout of a living room/room/dining room/kitchen etc. However, since I need to create several sets (it's for an interior designing website), I will not be able to afford every piece. Is there any way of doing business so I can borrow furniture for free. I will be displaying where to buy the item from so it's also a way of advertising their furnitures. I am needing pieces from different companies/sellers.

Open Question: What does my dream mean?

*Some back ground history on me* I have insomnia and I rarely remember my dreams, and when I do it's usually stressed induced. Okay, onto the dream... (finally fall asleep around 3 am) It's in first person but somehow I KNOW it's not me I'm some other girl whom I never look my face. I'm on a field trip with kids I don't know but they are every around my age, (16 17) and we are on the East Coast of America, I don't know how I knew I just knew. It was hot and we were in and out of museums and other random places that I wasn't sure what we were suppose to be doing but I Just kept having this feeling of being followed. I THINK (I can't really remember because it's kinda fuzzy right here) I was walking alone...somewhere...and this tall futuristic business man, (he was handsome in a grown up nice of way) told me to arrive with him and of course I said no, he was a stranger, and I walked away. I walked into this cute outdoor cafe and I was sitting there eatting...or was I drinking something...(it's fuzzy right here too) and then out of no where the business man is sitting there again (I just realized this part sounds like the inception trailer scene lol) and he's telling me I HAVE to go with him but I said no again then suddenly he was standing next to me grabbing my upper arm difficult. I try and tug away but I wouldn't let go so I start screaming and crying and right there it goes to third person and I look my face but since I'm crying I can't really receive a good look at my mystery face (it's not my real face) And I kinda wake up to my phone alarm telling me it's 10am but I kinda punch my phone and fall back into the dream, yeah I know, that rarely happens and why couldn't it have been a less confusing dream! >.< Anyways... I'm not at the cafe anymore but I'm somewhere else now, not sure where but it's kinda like a giant mall? (that's as best as I can describe it) and I was in the make up part of a store. I'm walking around very confused and looking out the corner of my eyes for that tall business man and suddenly I'm with my friends from school and this old women is telling us personality about us just from looking at us and she looks at me and says that I'm a very sweet person and so shy and cute and the kindest person she's met and I'm just standing there blushing and giggling and shrinking into my shoulders and stuff and then suddenly HE'S there busts through my friends and the old lady (they disappear) and he very roughly grabs my upper arms and drags me away,the whole time I'm asking him to let me go and I'm tearing but very innocently pleading for him to let me go. He then drags me into a dark little room where this long narrow cardboard box is and he tell me in a calm voice to receive in it and I scream at him no so he tries to pick me up and toss me inside. I look inside and there is a big roll of what looks like paper, (you know, the giant rolls of paper you and your partner used in school to draw your silhouette on to learn about body parts) but it wasn't paper it was metal like and I kick and wiggle to not receive in and he sets me back down and I run around the other side and we do that dance around the box but he eventually catches me again and for some reason grabs my sides by at my rib cage, this feeling was very real feeling, I could feel his fingers in between each rib bone squeezing very roughly and he throws me in and I'm crying at this point and the tears are hot but he closes the top and it's dark and then quite quickly the box starts spinning and I'm forced to hold onto the paper roll/metal thing. The spin makes me sick and then... I wake up AGAIN to my husky licking my hand, grr. I push him away roll over and guess what happens again! I fall into the same damn dream. The spinning continues and then it stops, I slowly poke my head out and I'm in a cloths slash jewelry store, I crawl out of the box, the business guy gone again and I look around. I feel that as I climb out of the box that I'm some how prettier. My stomach feels weird but not from the spinning. I realize that I was LOOKING for the guy and my stomach hurt because I wanted him, almost like a "I was missing him" feeling like something bad was gonna happen to me if he wasn't with me but he found me and he grabbed my upper arm again and told me to receive in better cloths and was trying to put (I think) a shirt on me (it's fuzzy yet again right here) but I remember just running around the store trying to receive away from him, I'd run through two racks of cloths, around a shelf with jewelry and back through the two racks of cloths, after awhile I lose him and I couldn't look him. I cease in front of the shelf of jewelry and pick up a fuzzy purple bracelet with what looked like little tiny purple bells but they didn't jingle they purred like a cat. And after playing wi And after playing with that for awhile I decided that I'd do what the guy wanted (which for some random reason I suddenly knew that he wanted me to change cloths so he could turn me in to say that his product worked, like I was a volunteer for a new nice of lotion or something, that was just an example) so I walk around the cloths store looking for him and again that feeling of needed him came to me again, this time I thought I was going to toss up I wanted to find him so bad. I felt bad for hurting his feelings (somehow I had hurt his feelings?) and that I'd do what ever he wanted me to do the second I found him, I burst through this random wooden door and there was a random basketball court with what looked like dust/really thing ice on the floor. In the middle of the court my little brother was there dancing next to a tread mill and in front of me my pal Erica (we're not that great of friends, I find her really annoying actually) but she was ice skating in shoes? And she says to me, you can skate AND walk in here and my brother yells over to me, "yeah, just think about walking and you'll walk" and he continues dancing. At this point I wanted to find that guy so back so I run past Erica to the right and I thought I glanced the guy and that made me so...I wouldn't say excited but the feeling your body gets when you are excited, almost re leaved, so I try and think of me ice skating which worked for about two slides and then I feel down and me falling down on my butt/back jolted me out of my dream... =/ I woke up not glad and more sleepy, I still felt sick from wanting to find that guy and I felt bad for running, I was sleepy from the dream keying and my tail bone hurt...but I don't know if that's from the dream or from twirling practice last night. So, any theory's or answers to my crazy dream? Ugh, I'm still emotionally drained from this...

Open Question: friendship in doubt, fair weather or what?

I have had several very close friends for about 20 years. A couple of years ago, I had a tiny business go below and a second kept me afloat. I finally replaced the failed one with a part time job and continue the second tiny business part time. These friends know I am having a difficult time, and yet do not even call or check on me to look if I have slit my wrists or have starved to death. I would not do that, no matter what happens, and yet I wonder after 20 years, and being involved with these people, why are they not even calling to ask if I am ok. When I email and say hi and ask a question, I receive very short responses. The only thing against me is one of them shares a hobby with me, and we both donate time and money to it. Before the job problems, he decided to set me aside and do this hobby with someone else who had a better set up involving the hobby. Now that that someone else has moved on, my pal is still not contacting me and when he does he is short. I am a few bucks (100, not much for us) behind with money for the hobby, but have always put in my share and then some. I am almost caught up and paying what I can. 20 years is a while to be involved with these people, and I have been involved always with holidays, moves, b-days, weddings births etc. Just because I am having piss needy luck is no reason to back off from a pal, is it? I have never asked them for anything, and when they do run into me, they only say "how is it going?" "we understand".... Plenty of time to have shown they are 'fair weather friends" but they never have been that way.

Open Question: Website help.. How to implement ticket-selling and donation receiving?

Hi- I currently maintain a website with GoDaddy. I am fairly new to the whole domain / hosting thing, but have been able to design for quite some time. Well, another individual (a VERY well known one at that) has asked me to create a website for a 'fine arts council'. She said they want to be able to sell tickets online and accept donations. Well, I don't want to be liable for stolen ID info, but mainly, I don't know how to set up pages to accept donations and sell products. I know there are plans for business and eCommerce, but I'm not sure what is right for me, since I don't know how to program. Any and every help would be MUCH appreciated!

At a commission rate of only 4 percent, the exchange would earn close to 400 billion dollars to split between its owners, every Obama cronies. Open Question: Would you be in favor of three tables or more legal business mahjong?

Mahjong is a game for four players in one card table. I was told if you set up “three tables with four players per table” it would be considered illegal even if every the players were not gambling. It is legal to set up “two tables with four players per table” and the players are allowed to gamble. PAGCOR in resort hotels can add mahjong with NO gambling allowed. PAGCOR can have tournaments with prize money in the millions of Philippines Pesos to find the best mahjong player in the tournament using 1,000 tables in the additional building per high rise resort hotel. It will attract players to use the hotels and resorts with jobs in the service industry. Open Question: I can't connect to my nephew, he annoys me and I feel guilty about this, help. Can anyone relate?

I have a 7 year old nephew. I also have a child of my possess. I used to adore my nephew when he was a baby, but as he's gotten older he annoys me now. I feel guilty to admit that but it's the truth, because he's just a child and I realize that this is not his fault. Part of this stems from the fact that his mom (my sister) constantly pacifies his bad behavior and reinforces it. He would toss fits at my daughter's birthdays because he wanted it to be HIS birthday, he wanted to blow out the candles, he would always try to open her gifts, etc. Instead of calmly telling him that it wasn't his birthday, or that those were not his gifts, my sister would giggle it off as to not upset him further. This has pretty much been the jist of his whole life -- she will do whatever it takes to NOT upset him, even if it means that it affects other people. To give you a further example, she showed up tardy to my wedding ceremony, and only stayed about 10 minutes into the reception because my nephew started acting up. Again, instead of dealing with the tantrum in some form or fashion, she just bolted. For years she never even went out with him because of his tantrums. I'm sleepy of constantly hearing excuses for his behavior. I know it's none of my business because he's not my child, but I admit that his bratty behavior makes me feel distant from him and I don't like to hang around him. My daughter on the other hand loves to be with him. She's 3 years younger and she follows him around and wants to play with him. Many times he'll blow her off, or tells his mom he's bored and wants to leave (after we just got there), or again just acts bratty towards my daughter. My sister just down plays it and says "oh he's in a bad mood." Well he's been in a "bad mood" since birth according to her.....literally, she says that every the time. So how do I handle my possess personal feelings about this? I know I'm the adult and I know better. And I do understand that he's the child, and it's not his fault that his mom can't set limits or tutor him manners. I don't expect a child to act perfect 100% of the time, but if that were my daughter, I would (and do) tutor her how to behave in public, or around other kids, or around family etc. She's younger than he is, yet can handle her emotions better because of it. What do I do about my feelings?

Open Question: Corporate world advice for college student? Internship not going well...?

At the beginning of the summer, I was advised to partake in a media internship, due to the fact, that I want to transfer to NYU's Tisch for film and I was told this would look great on a resume. I have succeeded in the classroom so I thought an off-campus learning experience could be just the thing that would help receive some real hands-on learning. Since I began the internship it has been one frustration after another, one dissapointment after another, etc. It has not been a good experience. Sure, learning is learning, but I have to say I regret deeply that this is my first corporate experience. The internship is at a local news/broadcasting station, and I am basically a production assistant- filling that role rather. Since Day 1 it has been the same exact thing- the employees every talk about each other behind each others back, swear up and down, lift their voices, and act incredibly unprofessional. The news anchors behave like kids, and the production is not much better. I have also worked with the "production sales," writing, producing, shooting, etc. commercails for local business. Working with them originally seemed like a great experience! Then reality seemed to set in and I once again faced the issue of different people telling me different things in regards to the same issue. I have had two retail jobs in my entire life, so I am willing to admit I am incredibly inexperienced. Once I felt as if I was being given the icy shoulder, the run around, being ignored, and other people taking responsiblity for something that seconds before that gave me responsibility for, I "checked out," in some regard. I have texted around the people I work with (which they explained to me was innapropriate, despite the fact that I am literally sitting around doing nothing), and have recieved negative evaulations. I guess I am wondering...is this normal? Am I to expect to find this in EVERY corporate environment I work in? Are business people always this two-faced? big corporations I understand, but a tiny local news station? Is this my fault? What can I do to turn this around in two days? Not only is global warming a hoax, but it's a big extortion money maker for Gore through GIM (Europe's carbon exchange) and CXX (Chicago's).

Open Question: For those who think taxing the rich is a good idea, have you pondered this?

As a rule, we can consider that when the wealth of the wealthy, or of any of us, goes to pay taxes to the government, it is consumed. When wealth stays with its rightful owners, that portion not consumed is mostly used by businesses as monetary capital, which is transformed into capital goods. This is especially true for the wealthy, who keep an overwhelming majority of their wealth. Money in banks, savings institutions, and investment firms is loaned out or invested in places where it is ultimately used for the production of consumer goods (including services). Again, the more consumer goods we create, the more our real wages rise relative to the costs of things we buy—things become cheaper in real terms. We can generally think, somewhat abstractly, of things in the following fashion: Every $1 not paid in taxes becomes $1.20 if left in the hands of its owners. If that same $1 goes to the government through taxes and is consumed, it becomes $0. The additional 20 cents created by capitalists can be thought of as a new tool with which to produce, and therefore a new consumer good or service, while the $0 can be thought of as a tool or good never having been created to start with. Wealth kept by its owners, when saved, creates new jobs and products for us. Wealth taken and given to someone else is spent and disappears forever. It cannot be emphasized enough that the spending for capital goods and labor is paid for by savings, not by consumer spending! For when we go to purchase a car, home, or television set, these things have already been made before we arrive at the store. The necessary spending for production takes place long before we consumers show up, and is funded by savings/monetary capital. Without capital, there would be no money or tools with which to make things—we would every have to produce individually by hand. This would include even our cars and homes, as it is savings that pays for both the home and cars to be built in the first place and to finance them once they are built (since most of us could not afford to pay cash up front). Does that make any sense to the liberals who support TAX THE WEALTHY! ... ??? @Caribou: Bush's economy was based on deficit-spending. It's disingenuous to say 'well, he implemented tax cuts and the economy sucks, so they don't work'. B/C what you are leaving out is the rampant increase in spending, the devaluation of the dollar, t he burst of the housing bubble, the allowance of back door deals by the Fed....every of which (in their possess right) dwarf any help the tax cuts would have provided. @whiteflame: "Many corporations send their money to offshore tax havens where it doesn't accrue any money for the U.S. whatsoever" ...that's to avoid the higher taxes imposed by our govt. I'm interested in where you gathered this information. How can $1 in unemployment benefits turn into $1.61? You claim the 20% increase in capital based on savings was an extraordinary amount. "...So what makes them so special?" They don't deserve special treatment because they are wealthy. The same should go for the needy. When you tax the wealthy, what part of their expenditures will they clip first? The parts that don't earn them returns, i.e. charitable donations. One other thing.... The less savings and capital businesses receive with which to operate, the less wealth the businesses can create for us. This equates to fewer jobs and fewer goods being produced. If the lower income groups did not receive money from the wealthy, they would instead receive ongoing salaries and a constant increase in goods available to them at constantly lower prices. Only capital creates jobs and pays wages....not fiat currency which comes from the printing press or subsidies i.e. unemployment, OWS, SSI.

Open Question: Why are my African Cichlids and common Pleco fighting?

I know the answer to this, but I need advice. My 6" common Pleco just recently started getting picked on by my African Cichlids, the biggest one being about 4". My Pleco, who I will now refer to as Carl, cuz that's his name, unfortunately decided to pick the same dwelling place as my biggest Cichlid, which btw is your common blue/yellow mixed African. The Cichlid chills out in this hole in the rock, and Carl stays on the other side of the rock. The Cichlid must have noticed that Carl has chosen this to be his territory, because he is constantly and viciously picking at his fins trying to pick a battle. Instead of fleeing, Carl just sits there and takes the beating, occasionally thrashing around to battle back, but never leaves his spot. It saddens me to look this because we've had Carl for quite a while now, and there has never been any nice of aggression towards him, because he minds his possess business, as most Plecos do. Since I didn't wanna arrive home from work to a dead Pleco, I have fished him out and put him by himself in my 26 gal bowfront that has just been recently set back up and cycled. Anyway, I want this to just be temporary as I need to move the decor around in the Cichlid tank so they could establish new territories, but I don't want this to be a recurring problem, because I just adore having a Pleco in the tank. Any advice as to what I couuld do?

Open Question: Was I wrong to grow attached to my online friend?

A few months ago I terminated association with a person I had been online friends with for close to 2 years. I have since picked up the pieces of my ego and made my peace with the situation. His behavior put me through an emotional rollercoster for several weeks. Last summer, in an effort to be more sociable exchanged contact information with this person and since then we would talk almost every night. We did not have a romantic relationship as he claimed he did not receive want to receive involved in another (after having 3 past failures), and this was ok as I was glad just to have another person to talk to. Both of us had a lot in common and we both considered ourselves to be aromantic, that is people that have a very low to non-existent sex drives. We met in a forum on the subject. Flash forward a couple of months later and I learned he was seeing/speaking to other women.... Still okay, after every we were just friends, but I started to feel as though I was being strung along on some nice of ego trip. This played on my fears, as I have a history of BAD friendships. I recalled our relationship before and after we started chatting online. I came to the realization that if we weren't discussing things of a sexual nature he showed little interest in me. I confronted him about this, he sort of laughed it off and told me that he thought very highly of me, that I had helped cheer him up during his darker moments (he also subtly implied that he thought I was attractive as well)....every of which failed to sequester my fears that I was being used as his personal "pick-me-up" and the confidant I thought I had gained was truly just a pretense. This took him completely be surprise as he said he didn't think there was a possibility of a romantic relationship as I was (and still consider myself) aromantic. I argued that I had long told him I was trying my hand in dating, in fact I was even seeing this person at the moment. I am an adult now and am more open to the idea of having a romantic relationship with someone. It was he that would continuously talk about how he didn't want to involve himself with another person. Something he seemed to have quickly dismissed. We came to a consensus, we would just remain friends and we wouldn't let this newfound revelation interfere with that. But it was easier said then done, a few days after I told him that I needed to have serious conversation on the matter, that I couldn't just sweep it every below the carpet. I needed him to voice his thoughts.... instead he excused himself with a "brb", and I thought he'd do jut that be-right -back... HE LEFT FOR TWO HOURS TO GO PLAY PS3... Even joked about the matter. We continued to carry on our conversations, but I was still very resentful towards him in the way he handled the situation. I told him I didn't think I could continue to carry on in the same manner. I told him I thought it was wiser if we just remained friends via FB etc.. and discontinue instant messaging services. The following day he sent me this message: "Hey, hear: I feel like we've reached the point on our e-friendship where I feel i should re-analyze the situation. Here's where you seem to be: you seem to be attached to a person whom you've never met and, now that every of this happened, never will. Over the past few years I've dreamed of opening up my possess clothing store, but now I am actually taking my dreams seriously. I've been in the retail business for the past 5 years so I am great at selling and dealing with customers, but I don't know basic administration things. If anyone has any advice, I have a list of "I don't know" 's: --- How do you find/decide on the computer program to ring up items, etc.? --- How do you PRODUCE price tags for items (other than writing them by hand)? --- Do I set up payroll straight through my business's bank account? --- How many months in advance to opening day should I invest in a space if it is ready for use? How many months in advance to opening day should I be seeking financial support from a bank? look, every my questions are about nitty-gritty details about opening up a start-up business, but they are very important. In addition to the research I'm doing online, I thought it would be important to seek advice from experts! I want to also apply for my Irish "Personal Public Service" number (the Irish equivalent of the UK National Insurance number), I will have my Passport & full Birth Certificate as ID, however they also want proof of address. Does any body know if it is possible to set up a forwarding/correspondence residential address in the RoI from the UK? I can make the occasional short trip over there in the close future to try to set something up. I have not, do not & will not ever try to claim Social Security Benefits! This is purely to try to ease the possible transition to the Irish Republic in the future with my family & possibly register any new business that I form. Open Question: What do I do now I am not sure?

My ex had the baby she lives in another country. I was supposed to have returned in March but she decided she didnt want me to arrive back. I had to leave to help set up a business that would have given up an income while living in another country. I feel there is nothing I can do I have missed the birth the first three months of her life. I have paid maintenaince every month but have had to contact as I was being treated as Atm. I used quite a bit of money to set this women up abroad in indo. I paid for the home the furniture etc. I was due to go out and look my new daughter in October but after finding out that my ex is not even sure if she is going to be there I have not booked anything as this is the best part of 1000 to receive there and back. That was a month ago after a row I have not spoken to her since. I have tried to support her through out the pregnancy but she has lied and cheated on me. So now I feel I cant even trust her to organise a visit I live in the uk by the way so its not as simple as getting in a car. I wondered what your thoughts were on my situation.

Open Question: How do I stop Outlook Express from grouping emails by subject?

OE has started categorizing my emails by info in the subject line even though I have it set up to list by date (and it was doing this just fine up until a couple weeks ago!) So If someone hits answer to an email I sent a month ago, it will appear in my inbox as a sub-email to the original email (a plus sign appears next to the email from last month and the new email appears indented and below it). So now I have no idea when a new email comes in if it's a answer to an old one unless I search every my old emails to find it. It's really slowing down my business communications! I've looked a number of times for a way to undo this but can't find it. every help is appreciated.

Open Question: Isn't unemployment the fault of Globalization (which both parties supported) and not one party or president?

People blame the democrats for tax increases, but even with the trickle down of Reagan and the bush tax cuts, we have seen that businesses would rather set up store in china and india..not the US. So basically, isnt the lack of jobs and outsourcing to Asia the result of globalization that was supported by BOTH parties. what good does it do to be hyper-partisan and name call when your guy isnt in office. The two parties are the same (look how easy it is to just switch parties). They both sold our jobs to Asia. Lets clip out the partisan bullcrap and find a solution. To make something in China, boat it across the biggest ocean in the world, load it on a truck and steer it to the Walmart in Dayton, Ohio is CHEAPER than just building it in a factory next to the walmart in dayton. Open Question: Is my husband emotionally involved?

I heard a phone conversation between my husband and his mistress of almost 2 years. He took a sick day today and called her because she wanted to talk. He thought I was taking a nap, but I picked up the extension... She was complaining that they haven't seen each other in 2 weeks and he hasn't contacted her yet to set another date. So I barely know this couple but I am dying to know if I should tell or try to keep it to myself. If it were me, I'd want to know. Open Question: Blackberry Curve 8520 Personal & Business Contact Lists?

I have a BB curve 8520 and have so far been using it for personal use, added my personal contacts to the phone book and thats that. Now I'm setting up in business and want to have a separate phone book for business contacts. I no that on the menu you can filter contacts, but the personal and business filters just bring up an empty phone book.I've tried adding contacts directly into the personal/business filtered lists but they just go into my main contact list and the filter lists stay empty :( wish this makes sense! Please try and help - its been driving me crazy! Seen people online with similar problem but can't find a solution! Thank you

Hi there, I just set up my possess little studio at home (my room :p ). I'm trying to receive serious in music making and my goal is to open my possess business to provide music/soundtrack for film/game industries. I have extensive amount of experience in music and I know my creativity in music can guide me to a place I belong. I am a full time software developer but I feel that music is my main strength. However, John’s wife cheated on him, and they soon got divorced. The revelation that his marriage of 30 years had disintegrated because of his wife’s infidelity came as a rude shock, like a surcharge at a formerly surcharge-free ATM machine. John and Mary were set up on a blind date by a mutual pal who knew that both needed cheering up. John quickly fell for Mary like his heart was a mob informant, and she was the East River. She caught his eye, like one of those pointy hook latches that used to dangle from screen doors and would fly up whenever you banged the door open again. She slowly grew on him throughout the date, like she was a colony of E. coli, and he was room temperature Canadian beef. He was deeply in adore. When she spoke, he thought he head bells, as if she were a trash truck backing up. Mary felt differently. To her, the date was pleasant enough, but she knew that if her life was a movie John would be in the credits as something like “Second Tall Man.” This would change. After the date, John expected Mary to call him right away. John went to pick her up at the airport. Long separated by cruel fate, the star-crossed lovers raced toward each other like two freight trains, one having left Cleveland at 6:36 PM traveling at 55 mph, the other having left Topeka at at 4:19 PM traveling at 35 mph. They decided to visit the Empire State Building together for their first day reunited. It was a wonderful day. As they talked at the top, John said to Mary “I must confess something to you.” “Tell me John,” she said. “It won’t change the fact that I adore you.” “That’s the thing,” he said. “You don’t really adore me. After our first date, you never called. But I loved you so much, that I recited an old spell that causes one to fall in adore So now, you feel as if you adore me, though you truly don’t.” For a minute Mary was speechless. Slowly, her face filled up with rage. She was so mad, she pushed John through the glass windows of the building. John fell many stories, hitting the pavement like a Hefty Bag filled with v egetable soup. John could not move afterward. He was as lame as a duck. Not the metaphorical lame duck, either, but a real duck that was actually lame, maybe from stepping on a land mine or something. Luckily, John was only slightly effected mentally. He still had a mind like a steel trap, only one that had been left out so long, it had rusted close. The two separated, though nothing seemed to change. To the world, their adore was gone, but unnoticed, like the period after the Dr. on a Dr Pepper can. Weeks later, Mary went to John’s home. She said “I am so sorry for pushing you out the window. I had every right to be mad at you though. However, that does not change the fact that the spell worked and I cannot help being in adore with you. Take me back?” John said yes, and so they set off on John’s Cape Dory sailboat. Their task? - to sail the world. They began their journey from the pond by John’s home which led into the Atlantic Ocean. As John and Mary rekindled their adore, the little b oat gently drifted across the pond, exactly the way a bowling ball wouldn’t.

Open Question: eBay seller hasnt shipped item and has switched to private feedback, advice?

So on 7/21/10 I purchased an item from a seller named Zazlee on ebay. The item was Battlefield Bad Company 2 for the Xbox 360 which cost $38 USD. The seller asked for up to 5 business days to boat the item which would make it 7/28 before it would be shipped at the latest. So I buy a copy at Buy It Now price and check the listing which since then had closed on the 23rd. The seller has set their feedback to private, which also means they can't sell items. This is where I start to receive worried. I also look that a lot of others have bought copies from the same seller as well before the listing ended as well. I contacted the seller through eBay and asked what's going on and I received no response. I also called the 800 number listed on their profile and the number had been disconnected. On top of that, I cant file a claim because eBay says that I must wait until 7/29/10 (the date the item should arrive by) to do so. I need advice: Should I ride it out a little bit and look if it arrives or should I file a claim as soon as possible?

Open Question: Does this seem like a reasonable "path" to take?

I'm VERY interested in the film industry. I've done plays and musical theatre for seven years now (I'm 14) and my interests have suddenly geared more towards film acting. I'm getting headshots done within the next month and I'll start doing Indie/Short/Student films. I live around Metro Detroit, and our film business is just starting- but it sure as heck is booming! I was thinking of just sticking with the Indie and Shorts (or whatever comes my way) until I graduate from Uni with a thick resume. I figured this would look better for an agent, and I may be able to glide into the business a bit better, you know? Like have experience on a set and a very full resume... I'd go to college and hopefully do a double major. Maybe screenwriting and business? I'd minor in production and directing for film. I'd also like to do photography in there somewhere, so I can have a career to fall back on. I'd do acting when I'm out of college, and do a bit of directing or producing. I'd build my way up. I've heard of a LOT of the business is who you know and I have four or five solid, good, well known contacts. Do you think this sounds good? I'm sort of a very organized person and I'm quite the planner. I like having an idea of what I'm going to do rather than be sort of "go with the flow". Thanks! :)

Open Question: Why does this make me old fashioned and "set back women"?

I am Christian first and foremost. Yet, I am a little annoyed because many women have said that I am out of date and out of touch. I believe that men are the head of the household and I believe in spoiling my husband. I don't have a problem bringing his dinner dish to him while he relaxes. No problem with being submissive. No problem with giving him massages the same way he would do me. I believe in cooking and getting up and making breakfast. Keeping a clean home and whatever else. I have not tried to receive anyone to live to way I do. Their marriage is their business. So why is it the way that I pick to live is detrimental to the progression of women?? @ new to ya..I have a career. My a son is 18. Everything that I will do for him, he will do for me.
